The Camp Your Kids Will Be Talking About All Summer
As a father of two, Capt. Stephen created this camp to get more kids on the water and teach the next generation of Chesapeake Anglers the fundamentals of fishing in a fun and engaging way.
Multiple Days Of Fishing
From the time we leave the dock until the time we drop off, your campers will be engaged in fishing the entire time we're out on the water.
Tackle For Every Camper
We teamed up with our sponsors at Shimano and our friends at Anglers Annapolis to provide high-quality tackle every camper gets to keep.
Learn Valuable Skills
Your campers will learn everthing they need to know to properly handle fish, catch live bait, tie knots, and rig their own rods for success.
Experienced Captains
Capt. Stephen Griffin, Capt. Drew, and Capt. Gio are all USCG, First Aid, and CPR Certified. They're experienced anglers and patient teachers.
Sample Itinerary
Day 1 // Monday
Live Bait & Bottom Fishing
Day one is all about the fundamentals of fishing the diverse waters of the Bay. Campers will learn everything they need to catch bait, rig their rods, cast, and retrieve. This is a hands-on experience where our captains will share their years of experience fishing our waters.
Day 2 // Tuesday
Rigging & Fishing With Artificial Lures
Day two is all about rigging and fishing with artificial lures using a wide variety of tactics from topwater, soft plastics, jig heads, and more. We'll be in shallower water targeting trout and striper using electronics and years of experience to find fish.
Experienced Captains
Capt. Stephen Griffin
USCG Licensed Captain Steve Griffin has lived in the Chesapeake Bay region for his entire life. He spent his 20s and early 30s restoring the Chesapeake Bay watershed as a stream restoration specialist. His understanding of the local waterways, currents, tides and hydraulics gives him a great advantage in fishing situations. He has a passion for showing people the incredible experiences the Chesapeake has to offer.
Capt. Drew Grahame
Capt. Drew is a lifelong fisherman from the Chesapeake Bay area, born and raised with a fishing rod in his hand. Drew secured his first job as a mate on a charter boat when he was just 16 years old, and his passion for fishing only grew from there. He has worked on several boats throughout his career, gaining extensive experience in different environments and conditions.
Capt. Gio Gargano
It was love at first cast. I've been fishing since I was a little kid, and I have an early memory of a charter trip I went on with my dad, little brother, and his work team. From the moment we started to the moment we finished, it was non-stop action. We were reeling them in as fast as we could. Growing up in Annapolis, the bay was our playground. After school, we’d go out crabbing and fishing with friends every day.
What Will We Catch?
Striped Bass
As the state fish of Maryland, we strongly believe the Chesapeake Bay is the best place in the country to target these prized sportfish. Known for their aggressive strikes and strong fights, rockfish can grow well over 40 inches, providing a thrilling challenge.
Redfish
The Redfish, or Red Drum as it is called in the Chesapeake Bay, is a popular sportfish that visits our waters from spring through fall. Primarily eating smaller baitfish, crabs, or shrimp, these powerful sportfish are known to school up and can hunt in large packs both inshore and offshore.
Speckled Trout
Spotted Seatrout are another migratory sportfish that live in our waters from spring through fall. These seatrout are another very popular fish to eat, and they are very plentiful in our waters! They typically hunt in shallow, sandy waters feeding near grass beds or hard structures.
White Perch
White perch in the Chesapeake Bay are a native, small, silvery fish that is abundant throughout the Bay and its tidal tributaries. Despite their name, they are not true perch but belong to the temperate bass family, closely related to striped bass. They can be caught year-round in the Bay.
Atlantic Croaker
Atlantic Croaker are a common bycatch on the Chesapeake and a great species to practice on for our campers. Some can get up to 20" long, put a great bend in the rod, and are great to eat. They also make a crazy "croaking" sound from their swim bladders when caught.
Spot
Similar to the Atlantic Croaker, Spots are a common catch in the Chesapeake. They are generally smaller with a max length of 14". Their most discernible trait is the large spot near their gills on their backs. They also make a grunting sound when caught.

Our Story
How We Are Changing The Way You Fish The Chesapeake Bay
Fishing the Chesapeake has always been a passion of ours. For years, we've put in time patterning these fish and dialing in our light tackle tactics. Wake up, fish, work, fish, go to sleep, and repeat. That was our routine until April 2021, when we decided to take the leap and start our own guide business. Now we are living the dream, showing folks like yourself the incredible fishing the Chesapeake Bay has to offer.
Real Reviews From Real Clients
Client Testimonials
From Bull Redfish to Stripers and everything in between, we've had the pleasure of showing some incredible folks how we fish the Chesapeake Bay.
The knowledge these two have of this fishery, paralleled with unbeatable gear, top-of-the-line electronics, and unmatched teaching ability for light tackle anglers is why we come back for more and more every time. Couldn’t recommend a better experience for light tackle anglers of all levels.

I can say without a doubt they are some of the most knowledgeable and, more importantly, personable guides out there. Anyone who steps on board will feel more like a friend than a client. The boats, electronics, rods, and tackle are truly the best of the best and will have you Dialed In every time.

Highly recommend chartering with Capt Steve. He is a great laid back captain and gets you on the fish. Fishing with light tackle makes for a much better experience not just reeling in a 5 gallon bucket. Thanks Capt Steve for putting me on my biggest light tackle rockfish
